YOUR MINI IN-CAR PERSONAL ASSISTANT.

VISUALLY ACCOMPANIED BY MINI.

A full-featured voice assistant has found its way into the cockpit of the MINI models for the first time. The MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant can be activated using the greeting “Hey MINI” or by pressing the push-to-talk button on the steering wheel. It allows customers to control important functions by voice command, enables travel-related requests or wishes and recognises whether it is the driver or front passenger currently speaking. Voice-controlled interaction on the circular OLED display takes the form of an animation featuring graphical elements, typography and an avatar. In terms of the display, drivers can choose between “MINI” – a stylised visualisation of a MINI – and optionally "Spike".

Elevate your journey with MINI‘s smart features. As standard, your MINI comes with lots of smart features such as MINI Navigation and Remote Services, enabling you to operate some of your MINI’s features via the MINI App.

DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS.

Experience enhanced comfort and safety with a camera and radar-based assistance. This package offers a range of advanced systems such as Active Cruise Control which automatically regulates the distance to the vehicle in front and maintains the speed of your MINI in the range of 0-180 km/h. In addition, it helps you stay in the middle of your lane when driving your MINI on roads with lane markings.

HIGH BEAM ASSISTANT.

Make light work of driving at night. When activated, the high beam automatically turns on when it is dark and turns off automatically where the roads are sufficiently lit. The High Beam Assistant is a front facing sensor integrated into the front of your MINI’s interior mirror. And it makes driving at night much safer by automatically switching the headlights from high beam to low beam to avoid dazzling road users. It does this when you drive at speeds of 50 km/h and above, or when the integrated camera detects headlights of oncoming vehicles. It switches back to full beam once the road ahead is clear.

DIGITAL KEY PLUS.

You can now open your MINI just by getting closer to it. The optional Digital Key Plus uses ultra-wideband (UWB) technology with a high safety standard and works in just the same way as a traditional key fob. So if you are nearby, and your compatible phone is in your pocket or a bag, it will unlock your MINI automatically – and then lock it again when you leave.

More reasons why you will love the MINI Digital Key Plus:

  • You can use it with iOS and Android smartphones, as well as on your Apple Watch when linked to your MINI ID

  • You can start your engine without taking your device out of your pocket

  • You can share the key with up to five people – with an option to restrict vehicle functions like acceleration or maximum speed

  • Key functions are available even when the battery is empty and without an internet connection
